Tip #4 – The Start Of Begging For Scraps
Like our loveable dogs today, their wild ancestors were not afraid to linger around after human mealtimes to scavenge for leftover food. Normally these packs stuck together to form a unified hunting team that fed off of their collective gains.
However, they were also smart enough to know that free, easy food could be sometimes found just outside villages and camps in trash piles called middens. The wolf ancestors knew that at certain times of the day, the middens were a smorgasbord of excess food that the pack could count on for nourishment.
