Tip #3 – Provide Structure For Your Dog
Dogs aren’t much different than children when it comes to needing structure, attention and love. Dogs aren’t able to speak to you verbally but can send you signs using body language. Teach the dog they way you want it to react to different commands. You want the dog to relate good and happy things when it hears it’s name called.
Don’t forget to provide lot’s of positive enforcement when it has completed a task well. It’s important not to call your dog when you plan on grooming him, isolating him or doing anything else that he might not like. That will only train him to want to run away when he is called for something.
